Step 3 of the Peaceful Pathway - Gather

The process of gathering requires you to bring everything together. To collect as much information from as many different sources as possible. If you can do this stage well then you will be placing yourself in a perfect position to move forward and negotiate. You will have clarity and full transparency about your circumstances and those of your ex-spouse.

I have found that it is this step where clients spend significant amounts of time and money when they really don’t need to!

There are so many resources and tools out there that will assist you at this stage, you just need to know how to find them. Many of them being low cost.

Here are a few of my tips that are found within my book:

·        Create a monthly budget.

·         Create your list of assets and liabilities.

·         Finding and Collating all of the documents you need.

The book carefully guides you through creating these tools and show you how and where to collect your information.

I can also suggest some wonderful tools to help you complete this process:

·         I use Family Property www.familyproperty.com.au

·         And I also recommend for clients to use of Adieu  www.adieu.ai.

These programs allow you to upload bank statements and any other documents you may have. So, if you have your rates notice, valuation or registration papers, you can upload them here and keep everything in the one place! You can also then share it with others if you need to.

I get super excited about this!

I have more tips and tricks in the book and online course!
